Designed to encourage creativity and collaboration, Huddle Rooms provide the collaborative work space that is lacking in many open plan offices.
These small meeting spaces, sized to accommodate 1-4 people, are usually equipped with audio, video and display system technology, and a collaborative work surface such as a digital whiteboard, SMART board, or glass board. Aimed to provide a more agile approach to collaborative work and meeting spaces, they are furnished more casually than a meeting or boardroom. Most companies with huddle rooms have multiple meeting/collaborative spaces depending on the size and requirements of their workforce.
The requirements of a huddle room are less elaborate than that of a larger meeting space, but it’s essential they are streamlined, flexible and user friendly to allow for “plug and play” approach and BYOD (Bring Your Own Device).
