The Situation
Growth at a Pace That Outruns Traditional Training
A senior healthcare organization was expanding fast — 33 centers across 7 states, with 18 new locations opening in a single month. With Microsoft Teams and Teams Rooms already deployed across the network, the priority shifted to making sure every employee, across every center, could actually use the technology with confidence. At that pace and geographic spread, traditional onsite training alone wasn’t going to cut it.
What We Did
A Training Strategy Built Around How People Actually Work
UC designed and executed a blended training program combining on-demand video content hosted on the client’s internal LMS with live, remote instructor-led train-the-trainer sessions — giving every employee a way to learn on their own schedule without sacrificing productivity or patient care time.
Key move: Rather than relying solely on live onsite training, UC built a library of short, topic-based video modules accessible 24/7 through the organization’s existing LMS — so the service desk could link directly to relevant content for employees needing support, and managers could direct staff to self-serve training at any time.
The Outcome
Faster Adoption, Fewer Tickets, Happier Staff
Within a month of launching the training program, service desk tickets dropped substantially, Teams and Channels usage accelerated across the organization, and overall Teams Rooms satisfaction improved measurably. When 18 new centers opened shortly after, onboarding was smoother than it had ever been — employees arrived already empowered to use the tools they needed, without losing hours of productivity getting up to speed.
